Winchester Is Home to Three Great Golf Courses

golf, golf courses, recreation,

Winchester is home to three great golf courses‚ and one of them is now even greater.

Winchester Country Club installed new greens and fairways in 2006‚ improving the hilly course known for the many trees that line its fairways. The signature hole is No. 17‚ a 406-yard par 4 that has a dogleg fairway and an uphill shot to the green.

Meanwhile‚ Southwind Golf Course is a semiprivate club whose signature hole is No. 13‚ a 325-yard par 4 that requires a tee shot from out of a chute of trees. At Cassell Creek Golf Course‚ the highlight hole is No. 11‚ a 190-yard par 3 that requires a very straight tee shot to a small green.
